Read This Before You Give Up

Have you given up already or are you on the verge of giving up on that dream, side hustle or business? Don't give up before you read this article!

Let's start this post with a short story I find intriguing and worth learning from.

It was a lecture free day in school and I decided to go the room of a friend. I guess I have a good timing as I met him watching The Witcher. He was in the penultimate episode of the series. I took a look at a few scenes and I knew that I wanted to watch it even before he recommended it to me.

Fast forward

I started watching the series but it got all strange and weird after the first episode. I wanted to stop watching the series but I did not stop because a friend who recommended it urged me to keep watching it even when I started to lose interest.

Well, I am glad I didn't stop because it got better and clearer with every more episodes I watched.

Moral of the story?

It's funny how we keep watching a series only because of a friend said so.

But we don't do that when starting a side hustle or when working on our dreams. So before you quit, think back about the reason why you started and how far you have gone.

Had I stopped watching The Witcher, I would have missed out on a great series. (If you have seen The Witcher, you would agree with me that it is worth watching). Sometimes, you have to be your own friend to keep encouraging and pushing yourself to achieve what you desire. It is also a good idea to surround yourself with people who believe in your dreams and aspirations. But not everyone is lucky to have such people around especially when you're just starting out and that is the reason why you be your own friend.

What if you have been failing? Go back to your planning board, brainstorm and try new strategies- You will keep getting the similar results if you stick to the same strategies.
